Location Ideas

I have been looking into a range of different locations which link to the genre which I have decided to do. After exploring a few music videos, I have decided to look into some local areas which I can create some establishing shots.

The first place I looked at was the big open space underneath the M32 which has a very good set up in place. Using this location, I can rather have some filler shots which may include the actor to be strolling through this location, or I could actually use this as a main location shot and have my actor against a pillar preforming. The only problem is in this location is that natural lighting is very important so I will have to film during certain times within the week and also the ground is not level so may cause problems when setting up a tripod.

I also had some initial idea of setting up some shots in Eastville park along the main path to do some main shots where the actor could be walking towards the camera while it is still moving away from the actor. This location also includes a wide open field I can use to do some filler shots if it is required.
This image shows where I want to do the opening shot of an actor on a skateboard going around the lake. This could be set up by using a selfie stick attached to a phone filming the actor as they go around the pond. If not then I can use this location to maybe fit into a different type of shot even if it is for a couple of seconds.

We have also decided to look into the schools dance studio because we can control the lighting very effectively. Grime music normally has low-key lighting so by doing it in a dance studio we can set it up so that each actor involved is seen very clearly.
